    New Search Engine....

Ok..  This is a very cool site.  It is a search engine community.  You can CREATE your own search engine.  Then, when people are looking for something in particular, they just choose the engine they want, and then do a search as normal.

So..I created the search engine:  Cleaning Companies.

Now, if you use this site, you choose that you are looking for Cleaning Companies, and your search will then be limited to guess what....???  give up??  Cleaning Companies.  LOL

Go check it out. I took the liberty of adding a few of the URL's of that I know of people here.  I hope you don't mind.  I even added the NCPC url.  Very interesting concept, this new site.  Some may wish to add new search engines like House Cleaning or whatever..  Check it out.

    http://cleaningcompanies.topicle.com/

    http://www.topicle.com is the main site....

That's the nice thing, everyone can add themselves...  It's like Widepedia but in search engines....

    Shanna, I added www.maids4hire.net for you.  :)

I am not seeing how one can add in their own business.  Am I missing the obvious?

    Re: New Search Engine....

No problem T... I had to look too when I wanted to add one.  LOL  I will say, it isn't the most obvious thing...til you see it.

You see the numbers on the tabs?  1, 2.   Next to the tab (2) you see edit.  Click on there.  then click on Add URL.

If you wish to create a new category, that doesn't already exist, say like.... dog grooming....you would do that  with the big + at the top right.

Now,This particular engine I created is Cleaning companies, thus, it should NOT include any companies selling cleaning products (only) or associations, etc..  however, I love this place, so I included it, because I can.  :)

But, that is the nice thing about the Topicle site.  You create a search engine of JUST that topic.  This way, if you do a search for cleaning companies, maid service, cleaners...you ONLY get those companies.  You won't get the associations, the distributers, etc..  See the niceness of it???

There can be an engine JUST for associations, distributers, and sites that HELP people that want to start a cleaning business..  The possibilities are endless.  And you can of course, put your link is as many as are relevant to your company..  You can make an engine that has NO franchise's on it.

And that you can then put the search engine on your site....yay.  You can have a search engine on your site for just cleaning products...if you don't sell them yourself... that way people can find and buy them online.  I know this is not a great idea for our business...but you see what it can be...  And you can control the sites they can search ...  kinda cool!!!!!

    Greg,

I tried adding my site and came up with this.
