    Recommendations for Portable Carpet Extractors

I'm planning to buy a portable carpet extractor in the near future. Does anyone have any recommendations for any particular brands or models that have proven to be a good investment?

    thanks,

    Michael

    Hello,

I have an edge and an ambassador by minuteman, they have been fine with me, paid 1600.00 for the edge, and got a 2500.00 ambassador from a guy going to Iraq that had a jani-king franchise.Look around in the blogs and see what some of the guys thats more experienced than myself use.

We have used a  Betco fiber pro that we have had for years.  Only have had minor issues with it such as replacing fittings and just had to replace the drain valve.  But as I said we have had this unit for about 12 years now.

Just about any carpet extractor is going to be a good investement that will pay for itself in no time.

    We care and it shows!

     Michael,

Many new starters get an inferior machine with the thought of upgrading in the near future - so when they need the most help from their equipment, they are getting the least.

Have a look at the 3 x 3-stage, high airflow Recoil XPS from Cross American and start with a good machine that is part of a modular system that can grow with you.
